Dental crowns and bridges are restorative devices that can help replace missing and damaged teeth, enhancing your smile.
Crowns are placed over an existing tooth and then bonded or cemented to that tooth. They can help strengthen and conceal any cosmetic issue, including chips, cracks, and discoloration. Crowns are often used to restore teeth that are too weak or damaged for a filling. They are made of a variety of durable materials, including porcelain, porcelain-fused-to-metal, gold, ceramic and resin. Crowns must be strong and durable because they are subjected to very strong forces when you bite.
A bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by joining an artificial tooth to adjacent teeth or dental implants.
